TASC Supervisor Coordinators and Supervisors have an essential role in operating the Exam Centres conducting end-of-year external assessments. Exam Supervision includes administrative, manual handling and recordkeeping duties to prepare exam rooms, manage exam papers and supervise the conduct of senior secondary students sitting exams in line with the External assessment rules.

Thank you for your enthusiasm to deliver fair and consistent external student assessments for all Tasmanian senior secondary students undertaking Level 3 and 4 courses. We greatly appreciate your skills and expertise and look forward to working with you.

  • updated Supervisor Coordinator Statement of Duties – senior role with responsibility for running the Exam Centre
  • updated Supervisor Statement of Duties – a team of Supervisors is appointed to supervise each exam session held at the Exam Centre.

External Assessment Schedules:

  • Supervisor Coordinators are required to attend a training meeting before the exam period. A half day training payment will be made to attendees. A detailed agenda for the meeting will be sent early in October.
  • Exam Supervisors are required to attend a half day training meeting with their Coordinator before the exam period. A half-day training payment will be made to attendees but travel claims cannot be submitted.
