The TASC Outstanding Achievement Awards celebrate the academic and vocational education and training results of young Tasmanians.
The Awards offer a distinctive opportunity to celebrate student excellence across sectors at a state-wide level. Each year, around sixty students are recognised for their outstanding efforts and success in a broad range of academic or vocation education pathways. There are two Award categories: TASC Outstanding Achievement in Vocational Education and Training (VET) Award and the TASC Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.

- This Award recognises those Year 12 students who have demonstrated excellence in their VET program while also achieving the Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE)/Tasmanian Certificate of Educational Achievement (TCEA).
- Recipients are selected by a TASC-appointed panel of experts in the vocational education and training sector.
- Nominations for the TASC Outstanding Achievement in VET Awards open in Term 3 each year.
TASC Outstanding Academic Achievement Award
- This Award recognises the Year 12 students who attained Tasmania’s highest academic results with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 99.5 or above.
