The Student Declaration online form for 2025 is now available.

A Student Declaration must be completed annually by all senior secondary students* who are undertaking one or more TASC courses.

When you complete the Student Declaration (below) you are:

  • declaring you have read and will comply with the TASC academic integrity requirements (this applies to students who are studying ALL levels of TASC courses, not just Level 3 or Level courses)
  • declaring that you have read and will comply with the TASC external assessment rules (this applies to students who are studying any TASC course that has an external assessment, including a folio, practical, presentation, oral, display or written exam)
  • providing identity and demographic information, including a phone number in case TASC needs to contact you
  • providing a personal email address where TASC will send a digital copy of your results
  • confirming that you understand your eligibility and responsibilities, and how your assessment and results information is used.

TASC is committed to protecting information collected through this process and the handling of data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act 2004. See how TASC manages information protection and access.

How to complete your Student Declaration

You will need:

  • your TASC ID (talk to your school if you do not know your TASC ID)
  • your identity and demographic information, including your postal address
  • an ongoing email address you can access after your senior secondary study (noting that your school email account will be closed after you leave school) – a digital copy of your results will be sent to this email address
  • How to… complete a Student Declaration guide.

Complete the two-step declaration process:

  1. Complete the online Student Declaration form:
This includes your personal details, contact information and your declaration.
  2. Confirm your declaration via email verification (must be done within 24 hours):
An email – TASC Student Declaration – confirmation – from TRACS will be sent to the email address you provided. Please check your Spam or Junk folders if you can’t see the confirmation email. Follow the instructions in the confirmation email to verify your email address and finalise the declaration process.

Updating your email address for results

If you need to update the email address you provided in your Student Declaration later in the year, you can do this at any time below:

Students exempt from completing a Student Declaration

* Students with substantial educational adjustments, requiring significant support in their learning, are exempt from completing a Student Declaration. Schools are required to complete the Student Declaration Exemption – Statutory Declaration to confirm that the students listed are unable to complete a Student Declaration due to the significant support required to do so. This declaration can be provided to TASC via TRACS, selecting the Student Declaration Exemption Statutory Declaration correspondence type.
