If you are transferring from another Australian state/territory or another country at the end of Year 11 and have enrolled to complete Year 12 in Tasmania, TASC may be able to recognise your Year 11 senior secondary qualifications.

TASC can recognise results for a full year of senior secondary study. Your qualifications may contribute towards the Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE). Australian interstate qualifications may also contribute to the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

Students should submit recognition applications through their school’s TASC Liaison Officer (TLO).

You can also submit an application independently with the application form (in link below).

Application for senior secondary recognition

You must attach the following documents to the application form:

  • Proof of identity (e.g. drivers licence, government ID card, passport).
  • Certified copies of the full year of senior secondary results that you are seeking recognition for (e.g. school reports from both semester 1 and 2, Statement of Results).
  • Overseas recognition only: Evidence of your right to reside in Australia (e.g. visa documentation or Australian passport (whichever is applicable).
